My nana swore by this: Mix 2 things to Vaseline & use it daily to erase wrinkles for good

Posted on February 10, 2026 by Admin

Ahhh this sounds like one of those passed-down nana beauty secrets that felt magical ✨
Here’s the honest tea though—there is a very common version of this, and it can make skin look smoother and plumper… just not literally erase wrinkles forever.

The classic “nana” mix most people mean

Vaseline + Vitamin E oil

Why she swore by it:

  • Vaseline = seals moisture in like a boss (occlusive)
  • Vitamin E oil = antioxidant, helps skin feel softer and look healthier

When skin is deeply moisturized, fine lines look way less noticeable. That “erased” look is usually plumping + glow, not permanent wrinkle removal.

How people use it:

  • 1 tablespoon Vaseline
  • 2–3 drops vitamin E oil (or puncture a vitamin E capsule)
  • Mix well
  • Apply a tiny amount at night on clean skin

Another old-school variation

Vaseline + Aloe Vera gel

  • Aloe soothes and hydrates
  • Vaseline locks it in
  • Great for dry, mature, or irritated skin

Real-talk expectations (important ❤️)

  • It will not erase wrinkles permanently
  • It can:
    • Smooth the look of fine lines
    • Improve dryness (which exaggerates wrinkles)
    • Give that “sleeping mask” glow by morning

Heads-up before you try it

  • Vaseline can clog pores if you’re acne-prone
  • Best used at night
  • Always patch test (especially vitamin E—some people react)

If you want, tell me:

  • your skin type (dry, oily, sensitive, acne-prone)
  • your age range
and I’ll tweak the “nana recipe” so it actually works for you 💕
