I don’t currently see a pan or image to count the eggs in, so I can’t give an exact number. 🥚
If you want a detailed answer, here’s what I can do:
Ways to determine the number of eggs in a pan
- Visual count
- Look at the pan from above and count each egg visible.
- If some eggs overlap, try moving them slightly to ensure none are hidden.
- Pan capacity estimate
- Estimate the pan’s diameter:
- Small frying pan (~20 cm / 8 in) → ~2–3 eggs comfortably
- Medium (~25 cm / 10 in) → ~4–5 eggs
- Large (~30 cm / 12 in) → ~6–8 eggs
- This is approximate depending on egg size.
- Estimate the pan’s diameter:
- Weight method (for a precise count if scrambled)
- Average large egg: ~50 grams.
- Weigh the total eggs in the pan, then divide by 50 g to estimate the number.
- Spacing method
- Eggs should ideally have ~0.5–1 cm spacing between them to cook evenly.
- Count how many fit comfortably in the pan area.
If you upload a photo of the pan, I can count the eggs exactly and even note which are cracked, fried, or whole.
Do you want to do that?
