Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.

2. Make the Cream Cheese Filling

  1. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Set aside.

3. Prepare the Bread Batter

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In a separate large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding flour mixture and milk, starting and ending with flour. Mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in blueberries.

4. Assemble the Bread

  1. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan.
  2. Dollop cream cheese filling evenly over the batter.
  3. Pour the remaining batter on top and gently swirl with a knife for a marble effect.
  4. Optional: sprinkle cinnamon sugar and extra blueberries on top.

5. Bake

  • Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
