Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake

Posted on April 3, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and comforting recipe for a Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake—a creamy, cheesy, one-pan meal perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can biscuit dough (like refrigerated biscuits, 8–10 pieces)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    • 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix Filling
    • In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Assemble in Baking Dish
    • Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared dish.
    • Separate biscuits and place on top of the mixture. You can cut them in halves or quarters to cover evenly.
  4. Add Cheese
    • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the biscuits.
  5. Bake
    • Bake 25–30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  6. Serve
    • Let it cool a few minutes. Serve warm as a hearty meal.

Tips

  • Use rotisserie chicken for extra flavor and convenience.
  • Add herbs like thyme or parsley for extra aroma.
  • For a crispier top, brush biscuits lightly with melted butter before baking.

💡 Optional Variations

  • Spicy: Add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne or chopped jalapeños.
  • Creamier: Mix in 1/2 cup sour cream or cream cheese.
  • Vegetarian version: Substitute chicken with mushrooms or cooked beans.

If you want, I can make a super-easy 30-minute version of this casserole that uses only 5 ingredients for busy weeknights.
