Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (halved into thin cutlets)

  • 250 g mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¾ cup Marsala wine
  • ½ cup chicken broth

Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper
  • Lightly coat in flour (shake off excess)

2. Cook the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a pan
  • Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden
  • Remove and set aside

3. Make the Sauce

  • In the same pan, add butter and mushrooms
  • Cook until soft and browned
  • Add garlic and sauté briefly

4. Add the Marsala

  • Pour in Marsala wine, let it simmer for 2–3 minutes
  • Add chicken broth and cook until slightly reduced

5. Finish the Dish

  • Return chicken to the pan
  • Simmer for 5–7 minutes until cooked through
  • Add cream (optional) for a richer sauce

6. Serve

  • Garnish with parsley
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta
