  • 500 g fresh mushrooms (button, cremini, or shiitake)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko for extra crisp
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • Oil for frying

  1. Clean mushrooms gently with a damp cloth; remove stems if desired.
  2. Set up a dredging station:
    • Bowl 1: Flour + salt + pepper + garlic powder
    • Bowl 2: Beaten eggs

  3. Coat mushrooms:
    • Roll in flour → dip in egg → coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan or deep fryer to ~180°C (350°F).
